ADVENTURES OF A YOUNG NATURALIST

Book cover illustration in answer to a Creative Practice brief from The Association of Illustrators. I chose a memoir by David Attenborough, using a warm, limited palate and angular, sepia coloured line work to evoke the 1950s. The iconic figure of young Attenborough surveys an African landscape, surrounded by lush foliage and a few of the animals he encountered on his adventures around the world.
